Then the Medford Lakes Fire Department is for you! The department is made up of people from all different backgrounds and occupations. Some work Monday through Friday, some work 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts. Some are white-collar workers, some are blue. Some are residents of Medford Lakes and some are from Medford. What they all have in common is the desire to help their neighbors. The department offers free training, college tuition reimbursements through a State program and other benefits. If you are at least 16 years old and would like to join, applications can be downloaded from the web site at www.mlfd371.org or picked up at the borough office during normal business hours and/or at the firehouse on the first, second and/or fourth Monday night. Our department is proud to have been the springboard for six members who have made firefighting their career path in paid departments and we are always looking to augment our staff. The department has openings in the following areas: Firefighter, Fire Police Officer and Fire Auxiliary.
