Borough accepts Share Grant for Police Services Study

At its May 27, 2009 meeting, the Medford Lakes Borough Council adopted a Resolution accepting a $26,550 SHARE Grant from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. The grant will be used by the Borough to advance the analysis of shared police services with the Township of Medford. This action follows the Borough’s recent award of a contract to Salmon Ventures, LLC to conduct the shared services study for the Borough in collaboration with the Township.

Mayor Weiss stated, “We appreciate the DCA’s support of our efforts to advance the analysis of shared police services between the Borough and Medford Township. We look forward to working with Medford and Salmon Ventures to advance this study in a timely and thorough manner.”

Questions may be addressed to Mayor Paul G. Weiss or Geoff Urbanik, Borough Manager at 654-8898.
