Sign Ordinance

The sign ordinance adopted in December 2005 allows “For Sale” signs to be placed on your own property provided there is only one sign per property, the sign is at least 10 ft from the roadway, is not more 6 square feet in area, nor more than 4 ft tall. Signs on public property or in the public right-of-way are not permitted and will be removed. It is illegal to attach a sign to a tree, fence or utility pole.
