ALEXANDER, C. CLINTON, III
ALEXANDER, C. CLINTON, IIIAge 88, of the Leisuretowne section of Southampton, passed away Wednesday, Jan- uary 23, 2008, at his daughter's home in Leisuretowne. Born in Nutley, NJ, he resided in Medford Lakes before moving to Leisuretowne in 1997. Clinton was a Medford Lakes Historian for over 30 years. He was a member of Cathedral of the Woods in Medford Lakes, and was a U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII. He retired in 1980, as a professional letter carrier from the U.S. Post Office in Medford. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Janet (nee Kalehoff) Alexander; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan Leslie and Gary Williams of Southampton, and Peggy and John O'Keefe of Medford Lakes; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles Clinton IV and Elizabeth Alexander of Hammon-ton, and Edward M. Alexander of Shamong; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at 1 PM, at the Cathedral of the Woods, 100 Stokes Rd., Medford Lakes. Arrangements are by the MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ, (609) 654-2439. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
