Mishemokwa Roadway Repair Update

A completed survey and letter of clarification has been sent to the NJ State Dept. of Dam Safety from our Engineers that defines the damaged culvert as not meeting the standard of classification of a dam. Once the State responds, we hope to complete the repairs utilizing our Public Works Dept. and thus avoid the estimated costs of over $160,000.

Tabernacle Road Bridge

The Burlington County Engineering Department has acknowledged that the asphalt paving placed upon the the bridge deck is experiencing premature deterioration. Their solution to this problem is to remove the asphalt paving and to reinstall it in the spring during warmer weather. In the meantime, the County Highway Department will routinely check the bridge and make repairs as needed.
