"Progress on Oaks Hall - the new Medford Lakes Municipal Cabin"

I know many of you are curious about the progress being made on the new Municipal Cabin. Our primary interior contractor, WJ Gross, is nearing completion of the finished office space and meeting hall. Contracts have also been awarded for voice/data, secure entry systems and just recently, the work for the parking lot and other exterior finishing. Work is moving very quickly now and we expect to hold our first meeting in Oaks Hall in June. There is still much to do but the major work items have been contracted and everyone is working towards this goal. While the new building is larger than the original it has been designed to fit with Medford Lakes' unique character and it will be a beautiful addition to our northern gateway.
Sincerely, Geoffrey Urbanik, Borough Manager"

Mishemokwa Roadway Repair Update #3

Finally, we have been given the green light by our engineers to repair the pipe and culvert that runs under Mishe Mokwa Trail from Lake Kawesea. The Public Works department has had two pre-construction meetings, equipment and supplies have been ordered and Superintendent Pat McCorriston has set the start date for major work to begin on Tuesday, April 22nd. Pat believes that completion of the project will be by weeks end so long as the weather cooperates. The roadway will be open to normal traffic following the repairs. Final pavement will be placed once the repair has had time to settle.
